"hands on" training along with the essential audio theory you need
to be confident and competent in any recording studio or audio
facility environment.
►Our
motto? Hands
on, hands on, hands on!
During
the programs, you will work with staff engineer/instructors including Ken Schubert, our chief
instructor with
numerous platinum credits and
Billboard hits. Our
"one on one" teaching process, custom tailored to your specific studio recording
interests, occurs with just you and the instructor/engineer.
Our "small class" programs are also very focused with much
individual attention during each program.
►Learning in
a pro recording studio gives you the opportunity to engage in real
life studio sessions, meet and talk with major artists, producers,
and industry executives. You'll also experience real-life studio
operations during interaction with Cue Recording Studio's many
clients, staff of seasoned engineers, managers, and music producers.
►Our "100 hour" "one on one" program also gives you a new Digidesign Mbox 2 with Pro Tools 8.0
software!
►Immediately begin practicing what you've learned
after you install
this free
Mbox with included Pro Tools 8.0 software on your Mac or PC computer at home.
This recording equipment is fundamental to learning and practicing
while refining your new skills.
►The
"100 hour"
" program provides (80) hours of intensive instruction,
(15) hours of Learning Lab time, and (5) hours of "mixdown"
time.

processing, proper recording techniques, patchbay usage, digital
workstation operations, automated mixing, and
various tricks of the trade to achieve those special sounds like the
pros do.
Included is the industry standard "Recording Studio
Handbook" and a Pro Tools 8.0 Official Courseware manual which covers
sound physics and advanced studio engineering application and theory. From creative mixing
techniques to studio psychology between recording engineers and
their artist/clients, you will learn everything needed to start
your new career! Additionally, students
are automatically entitled to participate in Cue's

Our Audio Engineering
Programs
The
Cue Recording engineering program
has revolutionized the way recording programs have been taught for the
past 30 years. You will learn more quickly, implement your training
immediately, with increased confidence, and at the same time enjoy
substantial savings from
the typical expensive tuition fees of many traditional, academic
institutions.
Use real world studio engineering you can apply, not just book theory.
Learn microphone placement, brands and types, microphone preamp usage, equalizers,
tube compressors, digital reverbs and effects processors. Edit, pan,
automate fader moves,
and much more in the Pro Tools domain.
Record live musicians and electronic instruments,
then perform several "mixdowns" of your final recording.
Enroll in any of our programs and learn
professional techniques and tricks during a
focused audio engineering curriculum. Our chief instructor, Ken
Schubert, has recorded a Billboard #1 Hit,(10) Gold &
Platinum awards, and has over 20 years
experience! These are the types of credentials you seldom find but should expect from
a world class instructor.
Learn at your own pace, with your own questions,
during your private
"one on one" education.
Program times are generally flexible
during the day, night or weekends.
Receive a recording studio
program Certificate of Completion
after your final "mix".
Participate in Cue Recording
Studio's intern program with automatic acceptance guaranteed.
Observe studio management tactics, client/staff interaction, and
other essential studio survival skills.
Learn
the basics of Mastering.
Participate in "mastering" a final mix in Cue's
mastering studio
and experience this process first hand with staff mastering engineer Keith
Burrell. (Offered with 30 hour - 100 programs.)
Receive the industry standard recording engineering
textbook / handbook "Modern Recording Techniques, 7th edition" and a Pro Tools
8.0 Official Courseware training manual with all our audio engineering
programs.
Get the real deal on what a
world class studio owner looks for in a new recording
engineer during several meetings with Cue's founder and CEO, Jeff
Jeffrey.
Why risk your education in an
over crowded classroom
with students on different learning levels,
and paying course fees up to $80,000.00? The smart way is to learn
at your own level
and pace. This "one on one" technique is more efficient and more financially
advantageous for the serious student. Our small
multi-student classes (usually 3 - 6 students) are also very conducive
to accelerated learning with much individual attention.

Our private programs are individually
"customized" to the current audio education
level and studio engineering needs of each student. Certain students need
a complete studio engineering curriculum, while others may choose a focused
outline which meets their specific areas of interests within the recording studio
industry. Our instructors excel in identifying these areas and developing effective, customized programs for them.
